DEKA Strong is a fitness challenge developed by Spartan's DEKAFIT, designed to assess and improve functional fitness through a series of ten exercises, known as DEKA Zones. Unlike DEKAFIT events, DEKA Strong eliminates the running segments, focusing solely on the workout zones. This format makes it accessible for individuals of all fitness levels, providing a standardized test to measure and track progress.
The DEKA Zones include:
Zone 1: Alternating Reverse Lunges with a Ruck (30 reps)
Zone 2: Rowing (500 meters)
Zone 3: Box Jump or Step Overs (20 reps)
Zone 4: Med Ball Sit-Up Throw (25 reps)
Zone 5: 500-meter Ski Erg
Zone 6: Farmer's Carry (100 meters)
Zone 7: Air Bike (25 calories)
Zone 8: Dead Ball Wall Overs (20 reps)
Zone 9: Tank Push/Pull (10 meters each)
Zone 10: Burpee Broad Jump (20 meters)
Participants complete these zones consecutively, aiming for their best possible time. DEKA Strong events are hosted at various gyms and fitness centers,

with the added twist of running intervals. Designed by Spartan’s DEKAFIT, this event pushes your limits by blending ten DEKA zones with 160 meters of running
between each station—adding up to a total of 1 mile (1,600 meters) of running throughout the challenge.

DEKA Mile is a unique hybrid fitness event that tests your strength, speed, and endurance. You'll tackle:
